PlushBeds Botanical Bliss review: the all organic, all latex option

The Botanical Bliss is PlushBeds' flagship latex mattress, and it's handcrafted in California. If it were my money, I'd be looking at it for three reasons: every layer is latex or certified organic textile, you can adjust the firmness after it arrives, and the certifications are all there for you to check yourself.

Heights, firmness and price

9 inches$2,024The base build, without the extra GOLS comfort layer
10 inches$2,324A thicker comfort stack over the same 6 inch core
12 inches$2,749Adds the GOLS certified organic latex comfort layer

You've got two firmness choices at every height, and they're the same price either way. Medium's rated 5.5 out of 10 by the brand, and it's positioned for side sleepers who want pressure relief at the shoulder and hip. Medium Firm is rated 8 out of 10, and it's positioned for back and stomach sleepers. If you're ordering a split size, you can go with dual firmness, so each side of the bed's different. And because the cover unzips and the layers can be rearranged, the feel at home isn't fixed the moment you order, which is a big part of the appeal for me.

In detail

The mattress, in short

Top pick

PlushBeds Botanical Bliss

  • 100 night return trial
  • Separate 365 Night Comfort Guarantee for firmness adjustment
  • 25 year warranty
  • Medium (5.5 of 10) or Medium Firm (8 of 10)
  • Who it is forYou're after certified organic materials through the whole mattress, not just in one layer; you're a side sleeper choosing Medium or a back or stomach sleeper choosing Medium Firm; you're part of a couple who want different firmness on each side; or you just like the idea that you can adjust the feel after delivery.
  • Who it is not forYou want coils in the build, in which case I'd point you to the Avocado Green or Birch Natural in our comparison; you want a full year to decide, which Avocado offers; or you want a wool free mattress, which is the Naturepedic EOS Classic Organic Vegan.
  • Two separate offersYou've got a 100 night return trial, plus a separate 365 Night Comfort Guarantee for firmness adjustment, so you've got options if the feel isn't quite right at first. The two sections below explain each one plainly.

Construction

What is inside it

Here's what's inside, six layers in the order the brand publishes them:

  • GOTS certified organic cotton cover, in a circular knit the brand chose for stretch and airflow
  • GOTS certified organic wool, which does the temperature and moisture work at the surface and serves as the fire barrier, so you don't need chemical flame retardants
  • GOTS certified organic cotton panel, which keeps the wool in place and lets the cover unzip
  • A natural latex comfort layer, eco-INSTITUT certified
  • A GOLS certified organic latex comfort layer, fitted on the 12 inch model only
  • A GOLS certified organic latex support core, ARPICO Dunlop, 6 inches thick, which carries the support and most of the durability

The certifications listed on the product page are GOLS, GOTS for both the cotton and the wool, GREENGUARD Gold, eco-INSTITUT and Control Union. That combination, organic latex plus organic textiles rather than one or the other, is what sets this mattress apart from most of the field in our comparison, at least to my eye.

The details

The trial, in plain terms

There are two different offers on the product page, and they're worth keeping separate in your head, because they do different jobs.

  • The return trial is 100 nights. That's the figure in the product page FAQ and in the product description, and the brand's sale terms add that you should sleep on the mattress for at least 30 nights before returning it.
  • The 365 Night Comfort Guarantee is a firmness adjustment offer. Inside that year, PlushBeds will help you change the firmness of the bed you've got, without the hassle of returning the whole mattress. It's a genuinely useful offer, and it's not a 365 night return window.

Put simply, the 100 nights are for returns, and the 365 Night Comfort Guarantee is for adjusting the firmness of the bed you've got. As with any mattress, it's worth a quick look at the current terms at checkout.

The details

The warranty, in plain terms

The warranty is 25 years, with full replacement in years 1 to 10 and prorated replacement in years 11 to 25. That's a long term, and it fits the build: the brand states that organic latex mattresses can last 15 to 20 years or longer with proper care. If you'd like the trial and warranty details in one place, our PlushBeds trial and warranty guide sets them out together.

Questions buyers ask

Is the return trial 100 nights or 365 nights?

The return trial is 100 nights. That's the figure in the product page FAQ and in the product description, and the brand's sale terms add that you should sleep on the mattress for at least 30 nights before returning it. The 365 Night Comfort Guarantee is a separate firmness adjustment offer, not a 365 night return window.

What is the warranty?

It's a 25 year warranty, with full replacement in years 1 to 10 and prorated replacement in years 11 to 25.

Can I change the firmness after it arrives?

Yes, you can. Because the cover unzips and the layers can be rearranged, the feel at home isn't fixed at the moment of ordering, and inside the 365 Night Comfort Guarantee PlushBeds will help you change the firmness of the bed you've got, without returning the whole mattress.

Which height should I choose?

The 9 inch is the base build at $2,024 for a Queen. The 10 inch adds a thicker comfort stack over the same 6 inch core at $2,324. The 12 inch adds the GOLS certified organic latex comfort layer at $2,749. Whichever height you pick, the two firmness choices apply, and they're at the same price.

Which certifications does it carry?

The certifications listed on the product page are GOLS, GOTS for both the cotton and the wool, GREENGUARD Gold, eco-INSTITUT and Control Union.

Have you slept on it?

No. We have not been sent a mattress and we have not slept on one. This review is an analysis of the construction, certifications, prices and terms the brand publishes, checked on November 5, 2026.

Verdict

Buy it for the materials and the adjustability

On construction and certifications, the Botanical Bliss is the most complete organic latex mattress we've compared, and its Queen pricing is clear and published by height. You've got a 100 night return trial, a separate 365 night comfort adjustment for firmness, and a 25 year warranty. If it were my money, I'd buy it for the materials and the adjustability.

The prices shown here were the prices in the official variant list on November 5, 2026. PlushBeds runs sales, so the checkout price may be lower. Don't worry, it won't be a different mattress.
