Head to head

PlushBeds Botanical Bliss vs Saatva Zenhaven: the two all latex beds

These are the only two all latex mattresses in our comparison. Both avoid coils. They solve the firmness question in different ways: the Botanical Bliss is adjusted from inside its zippered cover, and the Zenhaven is flipped. It's a clever idea.

The other differences are in the latex, the textiles and the terms. The Botanical Bliss has a 6 inch GOLS certified organic latex support core of ARPICO Dunlop and certified organic textiles. The Zenhaven uses natural Talalay latex, GOLS certified, and comes with a 365 night trial, a lifetime warranty and in room delivery.

PlushBeds warranty note: The Botanical Bliss warranty is 25 years, with full replacement in years 1 to 10 and prorated replacement in years 11 to 25.

The return trial is 100 nights, and the 365 Night Comfort Guarantee is a separate offer for firmness adjustment. Our PlushBeds trial and warranty guide sets out both in full.

These prices aren't like for like, so don't compare them at a glance. PlushBeds publishes its Queen price by height. Saatva's verified figure is from $1,861 at the smallest size, against a $2,189 list price as shown, so you'll want to check the Queen price on Saatva's own page.

In detail

The two mattresses, one by one

Our pick

PlushBeds Botanical Bliss, the adjustable all latex pick

  • 100 night return trial
  • Separate 365 Night Comfort Guarantee for firmness adjustment
  • 25 year warranty
  • Medium (5.5 of 10) or Medium Firm (8 of 10)
  • Who it is forAnyone who wants all latex and certified organic textiles, a choice of height, and the option to adjust the feel after delivery. If that's you, this is the one I'd look at first.
  • Who it is not forSomeone who wants a full year to return the bed. The PlushBeds return trial is 100 nights.
  • Worth knowingThe return trial is 100 nights. That's shorter than the Zenhaven's 365 nights.

The Botanical Bliss is latex from top to bottom, and it's certified organic in both its latex and its textiles. The build is six layers: a GOTS certified organic cotton cover, GOTS certified organic wool, a GOTS certified organic cotton panel, a natural latex comfort layer, a GOLS certified organic latex comfort layer on the 12 inch model, and a 6 inch GOLS certified organic latex support core. There are no coils and no synthetic foam layers to soften over time.

You choose the height first, then one of two firmness levels. Medium, rated 5.5 out of 10 by the brand, is the one PlushBeds positions for side sleepers. Medium Firm, rated 8 out of 10, is positioned for back and stomach sleepers. And because the layers sit inside a zippered cover, the firmness can be adjusted under the brand's 365 Night Comfort Guarantee instead of returning the whole bed. That's a real plus if you're worried about picking wrong.

The latex in the support core is ARPICO Dunlop, and the certifications listed on the product page are GOLS, GOTS for both the cotton and the wool, GREENGUARD Gold, eco-INSTITUT and Control Union. The full review goes through every layer, if you'd like the detail.

Saatva Zenhaven, the flippable all latex bed

  • 365 night trial
  • Lifetime warranty
  • Luxury Plush (4 to 5 of 10) or Gentle Firm (7 to 8 of 10)
  • Who it is forSomeone who can't decide on firmness in advance and wants two feels in one bed. If that's your worry, you'll love the idea of this one.
  • Who it is not forPartners who want two different feels at the same time. A Botanical Bliss split size can be ordered with dual firmness.
  • Worth knowingReturns carry a $99 processing fee.

Zenhaven solves the firmness gamble neatly: it puts two feels in one mattress. Flip it one way for Luxury Plush, rated 4 to 5 out of 10, flip it the other way for Gentle Firm, rated 7 to 8 out of 10. The latex is natural Talalay with a five zone layer and vented airflow channels, over an organic New Zealand wool flame barrier, inside a cover that includes organic cotton. The latex is GOLS certified, and the mattress carries eco-INSTITUT and GREENGUARD Gold listings on the brand's page.

Saatva does delivery differently, too: free in room delivery, setup and old mattress removal, rather than a box at the door. That's a genuine perk. The trial is 365 nights with a $99 processing fee on returns, and the warranty is lifetime. It comes in one height, 10 inches.

Before you buy

Questions buyers ask

Are both of these all latex?

Yes, both of them. They're the two all latex mattresses in our comparison. The Avocado, Birch and Naturepedic are hybrids that pair latex with coils.

What latex does each use?

Here's the breakdown. The Botanical Bliss has a 6 inch GOLS certified organic latex support core of ARPICO Dunlop, with a natural latex comfort layer and, on the 12 inch model, a GOLS certified organic latex comfort layer. The Zenhaven uses natural Talalay latex with a five zone layer and vented airflow channels, and its latex is GOLS certified.

Which has the longer trial?

The Zenhaven, and it's not close. The Zenhaven gives 365 nights with a $99 processing fee on returns. PlushBeds gives a 100 night return trial, with its 365 Night Comfort Guarantee as a separate firmness adjustment offer.

Is the PlushBeds trial 100 nights or 365 nights?

They're two different things. The return trial is 100 nights. The 365 Night Comfort Guarantee is a separate offer for firmness adjustment, not the return trial.

What is the warranty on the Botanical Bliss?

It's a 25 year warranty, with full replacement in years 1 to 10 and prorated replacement in years 11 to 25.

How do the firmness options compare?

The Botanical Bliss comes in Medium, rated 5.5 out of 10, or Medium Firm, rated 8 out of 10, with split firmness on eligible split sizes. The Zenhaven is flippable, with Luxury Plush, rated 4 to 5 out of 10, on one side and Gentle Firm, rated 7 to 8 out of 10, on the other. These ratings are each brand's own, so I'd treat them as a guide rather than a direct match.

Are these prices current?

They're the prices shown on each brand's own website on November 5, 2026. Prices move with sales, though. The price that counts is the one at the brand's checkout on the day you buy.

Does the commission decide the pick?

No. PlushBeds publishes a 15 percent affiliate payout on its own partner page, the highest rate among the brands compared here, and that's one reason it's covered in depth on this site. It's not the reason it's our pick. It leads on materials, price per inch of certified organic latex and customisation, as set out in its card above.

The short version

Our pick: PlushBeds Botanical Bliss

This is the one I'd buy if certified organic textiles matter most to you: it's latex from top to bottom and certified organic in both its latex and its textiles, with a choice of height and a firmness you can adjust. The return trial is 100 nights, and the warranty is 25 years, with full replacement in years 1 to 10 and prorated replacement in years 11 to 25. If you want two feels in one bed and long terms, the Zenhaven is the better fit.
